Intel Arc Control is a graphical processor management software designed to download drivers and optimize games for graphic processors ARC and XE IRIS. He competes with such software as NVIDIA GeForce Experience or AMD Radeon Software, which was updated for many years and proved their usefulness for many labor-intensive tasks.
NVIDIA and AMD did everything possible to add so many functions as the gamers need. However, this often makes the software by unnecessary complex or redesigned, adding functions that are already available in other places (for example, NVIDIA NIS), or later forces the company to offer "minimal" installation options (for example, Radeon Software) due to the scorched Set functions.
Intel ARC remains third major software for graphic processors, taking control of the most important functions of the video card, such as loading the latest versions of drivers or optimizing game settings to achieve the best results. This software, as well as AMD software, does not require login users.
Intel went even further by adding performance and acceleration monitoring functions. Arc Control will have built-in telemetry overlay, which can be opened using a simple key combination Alt + O. It should be noted that the acceleration function will be available only for desktop graphics processors.
Intel Arc Control will also support streaming video through a built-in studio for authors. It also includes Intel Virtual Camera technology, which adds the magic of artificial intelligence to save the focus or add a blur in the video taken in real time.
This, the combined encoding AV1 graphics processor ARC, definitely will not remain unnoticed gamers, which also love streaming content with the highest quality. AV1 is a new open standard, the effectiveness of which is 20% higher than that of HEVC (H.265), or 50% higher than that of H.264. Demonstration of this in action can be found here.
Intel Arc Control is available from today. Download the latest driver version here. Please note that it is currently working only with Arc and IRIS XE graphics processors, and there is a long list of well-known problems.
