The United Shipbuilding Corporation seriously claims world leadership in the field of underwater drone. An important step on this path - earned in Kronstadt the center of marine robotics. The center of marine robotics was created by the central design bureau "Rubin" famous for the entire world, where the best designers of atomic and diesel electrical submarines work. Thinking up the CMR, in Rubina, they decided to focus in one place test and production facilities to reduce costs and speed up the work. As a result, three assembly workshops with two stapels, test stands and instruments of the tech administrative are accommodated on six thousand square meters.
This allows you to simultaneously collect several underwater drones from small and medium to heavy and superheavy. All technological processes are displayed in a virtual environment where the full production cycle is controlled. This eliminates the possibility of an error when assembling or marriage in the smallest detail.
The CMR will serve not only Rubin CKB, but also other OSK enterprises - the corporation is not going to abandon their plans, despite the restrictions that have fallen on it.

In recent years, Russia has committed a real breakthrough in the creation of marine robots. One of them two years ago even dropped into the Mariana depressure by 10 more kilometers. Successful attempts to reach the bottom of the depression were before, but the American and Japanese devices "Neri" and "Caiko" were piloted (with remote or manual control). And the Russian "Vityaz-D" is a completely autonomous drone with an artificial intelligence that can avoid obstacles to independently, follow the course and fulfill the tasks.
Vityaz-D is also created by the CKB "Rubin", and 10 thousand meters for him are not the limit. In fact, the device can be descended by 12 kilometers. Designers do not just laid such a large margin of safety - thereby they clearly demonstrated their capabilities to the whole world.
Today, the TsKB "Ruby" has a whole line of innovative developments: compact robots of Amulet families and Talisman, a small apparatus "Juno", underwater heads, treated seismic surveys.
There are also secret projects, such as drone "Clavsine-2r-PM", in shape resembling a large torpedo. It is declared as a robot for hydrographic surveys and rescue operations. However, its functionality can be much wider - for example, the intelligence or protection of the perimeter of underwater autonomous cities. By the way, we were not in vain mentioned them.
One of the most interesting projects "Rubin" is called "Iceberg". This is an automatic station size with a small town, mining minerals right on the ocean day. It is possible that the future is behind such underwater complexes with drone drone.
