Photo of the alleged EPYC Genoa processor was published on TF AMD (Top Talent) in Malaysia. This is the first photo on which all 12 chipsets installed in the SP5 housing are shown. It is important here to note that it is most likely a layout, but a photo of at least 10 months (judging by the date of publication).
EPYC Genoa has up to 96 cores and 192 streams in full configuration. AMD will release a lot of SKU with partially disconnected nuclei, so the fact that this processor has 12 chiplots does not mean that all 96 cores will be active.
The new AMD SP5 platform will support up to 12 DDR5 memory channels, as well as the PCIE GEN5 interface. According to AMD, AMD Genoa is already shipped to first buyers. The new EPYC 7004 series must be launched by the end of this year.
