The total capacity of 2 blocks is 2510 MW, the thermal power of the reactor is 3300 MW. After the construction and commissioning is completed, each power unit of the Kursk NPP-2 will work for 60 years.

They are used to cool water, which circulates along a closed contour, taking excessive heat from the cooled units.
