Apple now produces some iPhone 13 phones in India in an attempt to diversify production.

Apple has been striving to reduce its dependence on China for several years, but the process is slow. According to Counterpoint Research, in 2021, China accounted for 95.3 percent of Apple global production operations.

Last year, India accounted for 3.1 percent of Apple production, and it is expected that by the end of this year this figure will grow to seven percent.

To become a viable competitor, India will have to invest more funds in delivery and logistics and establish even more friendly trade relations with Western countries. Labor disputes and disputes about wages were also a problem in the past.
