The Display Week 2022 exhibition was devoted to the digital developments of the past year: well -known specialists in the production of devices and equipment presented their concepts of new devices developed in 2021 and prepared for further implementation. A presentation of new products as a video card from NVIDIA and a new processor from the Intel brand took place.

The South Korean company Samsung also did not stand aside. Samsung is currently a leading brand for the creation and sale of devices with a folding display, so the company has announced the start of sales of new folding FLEX smartphones at the exhibition.

Each FLEX series device is endowed with unique functionality. Samsung Flex Roll is a gadget with a flexible display. The word Roll in the name of the device is directly related to its properties: most of the screen of this smartphone easily turns into a roll, which endows the device with even greater compactness.

Also, smartphones with a flexible display are Samsung Flex Bar and Flex Square models. The Flex Bar model is made by a brand using horizontal separation, which resembles the previously presented Galaxy Z Flip. In the Flex Square model, the separation, on the contrary, is vertical, which makes it similar to devices from the Z Fold series. Also, one smartphone model is called Flex Slide. The uniqueness of its design lies in the retractable screen. The display can be extended from the case when it is necessary, and pushed back when the user no longer needs it. This property was also developed by a brand for the greater compactness of the gadget.

In addition, the brand presented two types of sliders. The first model is horizontal. The diagonal of the display of this gadget can be increased from 8.1 inches to 12.4 inches. The second model of the slider is vertical. The diameter is 6.7 inches, and the screen is advanced.

The samples presented by the brand are examples of technologies and techniques that will be implemented in future Samsung devices. However, as the creators of the devices themselves emphasize, to complete adaptation of these technologies to a new generation of smartphones, it takes a lot of time.
