The trace of the report that the Nicehash team successfully deleted the hashrate restriction (LHR) from NVIDIA cards on Windows. The NBMiner team has now provided a method for 100% unlock LHR for the RTX 30 graphic processors on Linux. Both programs have closed source code, so we cannot see exactly how the LHR was hacked (for sure it would be very interesting).
However, it is obvious here that two teams using popular crypto tools managed to unlock LHR maps almost simultaneously. This raises the question of whether they were shared with information with each other and how they generally found this method.
Some users have already tested software and assure that the NBMINER V41 software really works, and this is the first time LHR was hacked to Linux.
It is interesting how the cryptocurrency and the price of video cards will react to this. After all, now there is a decline in cryptocurrency and a positive dynamics of prices for video cards.
