American Apple, Microsoft and Google will launch a unified non -parallel authorization on their platforms and sites by the end of the year. The online authentication protocol was developed by the FIDO and Consortium World Wide Web.

Users of the company's products will be able to choose their smartphone as the main device of authentication, after which they will have the opportunity to enter applications, sites and other digital services using biometric scan or input of the PIN-code of a mobile device, the joint statement said.

Passkey, which is transmitted between a smartphone and a website, will be responsible for safety. These encryption keys will be asymmetric: even if scammers get access to part of the token when hacking the site, there will be no threat to users.

The message emphasizes that Passkey token can be easily transferred to another device, for example, when losing the phone. Unpareinal authorization should appear in Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, as well as Browsers Chrome and Safari until the end of 2023.
